Breather Valve

Breather Valves helps storage systems breath in and out by maintaining the desired pressure &vacuum. These are mainly designed to prevent vapour loss, evaporation, over pressure, negative pressure and storage bucking.

Overpressure / Over vacuum is created inside storage systems due to process change and thermal effects. The overpressure can burst the tank & the over vacuum created during pump out of liquid can hold the liquid from drawing out buckling down the storage vessel.

Once excess pressure or vacuum is created inside the tank it is very important to control flow through the valve. This is done using weighted pallet that lifts at required set pressure/set vacuum allowing required flow capacity through the valve.

Pressure Relief Valve

Kingsley Pressure Relief Valves are designed, manufactured and tested to prevent excess positive pressure build up inside a storage tank. The seal tightness between disc and seat allows lift at required set pressure. Lifting of pallet also ensures minimum product and vapour loss from the storage system.
